I Malevolent Creation sono al lavoro sul nuovo disco, intitolato "Warkult" e previsto per il giugno 2004 sotto Nuclear Blast.

L'album conterrà almeno dieci nuove songs più alcune cover di cult thrash metal band, tra cui gli australiani Hobbs Angel of Death e i Leviathan:

"First up is a cover from Australian cult band HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH's song 'Crucifixion' from their debut album in 1988. Second up is a cover of at least one song from the 1986 four-song demo from Buffalo, NY thrash outfit LEVIATHAN. LEVIATHAN was fronted by vocalist Chris Barnes (SIX FEET UNDER, ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) along with guitarist Jeff Juszkiewicz (ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION). MALEVOLENT CREATION and LEVIATHAN were the only thrash/death metal bands in Buffalo in '86/'87 and we were totally blown away when we heard their demo. They totally influenced us to being a better band and record our first demo in early '87. The band was amazing and all four songs kill on that demo, but we will at least record one song from that classic demo tape."
