Gli Hammerfall chiudono un'era. Stefan Elmgren, chitarrista della band, ha deciso di lasciare il gruppo per motivi personali e familiari, e le due nuove uscite saranno le ultime con la sua presenza.

Stiamo parlando di un DVD, "Rebels With A Cause - Unruly, Unrestrained, Uninhibited", che conterrà nuove interviste e footage personale dei membri della band, che riguarda un periodo di sei anni, dal 2002 alla fine del 2007. Il dvd conterrà i video della band, esibizioni live, e molto altro materiale, che comporrà un prodotto costruito come un documentario. La lunghezza prevista è di oltre 3 ore.

L'altro prodotto in uscita è un cd di covers: "Masterpieces". L'abum racchiude tutte le canzoni che gli Hammerfall hanno eseguito in questi anni, più tre cover nuove, registrate per l'occasione. Ecco la tracklist:
